Jill A. Adams, PARLIAMENTARIAN

Jill A. Adams was appointed Treasurer for the City of Litchfield in 1998.  She served as Interim City Manager for the City of Litchfield in 2006.  Jill is also currently the bookkeeper for Litchfield District Library.  Prior to these positions, she was the assistant manager of Bank One’s southeast Michigan ATM operations.  She has been a member of the MMTA since 2000 and earned her CPFA certification from the APT US&C in 2007.  She has served on the MMTA newsletter committee and the membership committee.  She also participates as a mentor in the MGFOA mentor program.  Jill served as Treasurer for the Litchfield Chamber of Commerce from 2000 until 2003.Jill feels the MMTA is the most important organization for local Treasurers to be a part of providing communication and training that relates DIRECTLY to what Treasurer’s are currently facing.Jill enjoys spending time with her family and hunting. She has been married to Barry for 14 years and they have two wonderful sons, Nathanael, 6 and Christian, 3.
