Mary Ann Kornexl, MEMBERSHIP CHAIR

Mary Ann has been with the City of Mt. Pleasant since 1991.  She was appointed Treasurer in 1995 and Deputy Finance Director in 1998.  Prior to joining the City of Mt. Pleasant team she worked for an independent auditing firm auditing school districts, non-profit entities and municipalities throughout Michigan. 

She received her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration in 1986 from Central Michigan University.  She earned her Certified Public Accountant license in 1987.  Mary Ann joined MMTA in 1995.  She earned her CPFA in 1999.  Mary Ann has served on numerous committees including conference, legislative and education. She previously served as Parliamentarian and currently is the Chair of the Membership Committee. 

Mary Ann has been married to Dale for 15 years and has two sons, Trevor, 11 and Matthew, 8. She also is a member of MGFOA and is on the Board of Directors for the local Junior Achievement chapter.
