Cheryl Rhein-O'Neill, DIRECTOR-MEMBERSHIP

Cheryl Rhein-O’Neill was elected Treasurer for Oregon Township (Lapeer County) in November 2004.  Prior to being elected she served Oregon Township as the Deputy Treasurer since April 2003. 

Cheryl was elected to the MMTA Board at the Fall Conference in 2007.  Prior to being elected was an active member of the Legislative committee for the past 2 years and Education committee for the past year.  She graduated from Michigan Municipal Treasurer’s Institute (MMTI) in 2007.

Cheryl is currently the President of the Lapeer County Treasurer’s Association.  She is also the current Secretary of the Lapeer Greater Transit Authority.  Responsible for the creation and updates of Township website.

Cheryl resides in Oregon Township with her husband Tim.  Has a BS degree from Northern Michigan and took classes working for  a Post-baccalaureate Certificate in Computer Information Systems from the University of Southern Indiana.
