2027 Winter Workshop

The Winter Workshop training session is designed to provide attendees with tangible skills. Anyone with treasury-related responsibilities will find actionable knowledge that can help you do your job better. Training sessions will be held in Lansing and will also be available via livestreaming. Click on the image below to download a printable information sheet.

Attendance Options
Choose how you attend! In-person or online attendance is available for either:
1) both the Wednesday afternoon sessions and Thursday sessions for $199, or
2) the Thursday sessions only for $149
(Registrations after 1/4 will also include a $50 late fee.)

Select your preference when you register. Fees include sessions and downloadable materials for all attendees. There will be beverages and a networking dinner on Wednesday and breakfast and lunch on Thursday for in-person attendees. Register before Monday, January 4 to avoid a $50 late fee. Cancellation requests must be made in writing by January 4 for a full refund or by January 8 for a 50% refund, both are subject to a $25 cancellation fee. Changing between in-person and online registration is allowed; the first request is at no charge.

In-Person Location 
The conference will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn - Lansing West (633 N Canal Road in Lansing - near the intersection of I-69 and business 69/Saginaw Rd). Rooms are available for Tuesday and Wednesday evening at the group rate of $124 plus applicable taxes and fees. Make your reservations directly with the hotel using this link or calling 517-999-9930, option 0, and ask for the MMTA rate (or code 91E). If you use the link, make sure to select the night(s) of your stay at the top of the page (it will default to two nights). Check-in time at the Hilton Garden Inn is 3:00 pm and check-out time is noon. Room cancellations must be made directly with the hotel more than 24 hours prior to arrival to avoid charges. Make your reservations before December 30, 2026 to receive the MMTA group rate.

Materials and livestreaming link (for virtual attendees) will be distributed to attendees prior to the conference.

Note: the Advanced Certified Public Funds Investment Manager (ACPFIM) is being offered on Wednesday morning before Winter Workshop in cooperation with APT US&C. If you have your CPFIM and want to learn more about investing, this is a great add-on training opportunity for you. The ACPFIM is only being offered as an in-person training in Lansing.
